The job We're hiring 3 operators for a large-scale land clearing and fire management project in Gippsland. Approximately 3–3.5 months. Full-time, 50-hour weeks, Monday to Friday. Meals and accommodation provided.

Roles available

• Excavator Operator x 2 — harvester head, grabs, saw head and mulcher attachments

• Lambtrak / Dedicated Forestry Mulcher Operator x 1

What you'll be doing

• Running excavators or a Lambtrak dedicated forestry mulcher on a vegetation and land clearing project

• Tree removal, mulching and land clearing using various attachments

• Working on vegetation, land clearing and fire management works

• Loading and unloading gear and helping the crew keep machines in good nick

Must have Please only apply if you have:

• 3+ years operating excavators or dedicated forestry mulchers

• Tree work or land clearing experience (not just civils)

• Experience with harvester heads, 360 rotating grab and saw attachments

• Posi track or dedicated forestry mulcher experience

• Experience working in medium to high density bush

• Able to pass on-site VOC

Nice to have (we can train the right person on some of this)

• Chainsaw skills (tickets a bonus)

• Vegetation ID, tree or fire management experience

• Arborist background

• HC truck licence
